Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Auren application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Auren is operated by AXEN DIGITAL, a company based in French Guiana, France.

2. Description of Service

Auren is a personal wellness and affirmations application designed to support mental well-being through guided affirmations, mindfulness content, and personalized daily practices.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Auren. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Account

Some features of Auren may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Auren offers auto-renewable subscription plans that unlock premium features. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Your iTunes/Apple ID account will be charged upon confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
• Free trials, if offered, will automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

All payments are processed by Apple. AXEN DIGITAL does not store your payment information.

6. License & Intellectual Property

AXEN DIGITAL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Auren for personal, non-commercial purposes.

All content within the App — including text, graphics, audio, affirmations, and software — is the property of AXEN DIGITAL and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.
• Use the App's content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App.

7. User Content

Any content you create within the App (affirmations, journal entries, goals) remains yours. By using Auren, you grant AXEN DIGITAL a limited license to store and display this content solely to provide you with the service.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, or offensive.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Auren to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the App without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Auren is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. AXEN DIGITAL does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AXEN DIGITAL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or loss of profits.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of French Guiana.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
